Congratulations to Judge Vidya Prasad!

SABA-NJ congratulates one of its own, the Honorable Vidya Prasad, on her appointment and confirmation to be one of the State’s newest Workers’ Compensation judges. She is the first South Asian judge to be confirmed during Governor Murphy’s tenure. Judge Prasad received her Masters in English Literature from Stella Maris College, University of Madras, India. She then obtained her JD from Seton Hall Law School in 2006. Before her appointment, she was the Managing Attorney of The Law Offices of Vidya Prasad, LLC, where her primary areas of practice were Workers’ Compensation, Social Security Disability and Immigration. Judge Prasad is also a member of the Mercer County Bar Association,the  American Immigration Lawyers Association, and the American Inns of Court. We are proud of Judge Prasad’s accomplishment and wish her the best during her tenure on the bench.
