SABA-NJ thanks those on the frontlines of battling the COVID-19 pandemic

SABA-NJ is committed to support the South Asian community. South Asians are a core component of the essential workers, first responders and healthcare providers on the frontlines battling the COVID-19 pandemic. Here are their stories:

Today we feature Dr. Janish Kothari, an internal medicine physician at New York Presbyterian Brooklyn Methodist Hopsital. Dr. Kothari shares his experience in treating COVID-19 patients in Brooklyn, NY, one of the country’s hardest hit areas.

Today we feature Ruta Patel, PA-C and Ami Patel, CA-Y2, Department of Anesthesiology of Jersey City Medical Center. Though Hoboken and Jersey City have taken early and aggressive measures to battle COVID-19, area hospitals are hard hit by the virus and we thank all of the healthcare professionals for their continued efforts.

Today we feature Dr. Anjali Mitra, Dr. Nadia Aurora (back right), and Dr. Komal Rice (back left), residents at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital who are working tirelessly not only to battle COVID-19 but also to keep spirits up in the hospital!
